Ocean Quest Scuba School

Padi Open Water Certification: Our open water course is "all-inclusive" providing our students with everything they need to get certified for one low price. This course you have some home study to complete. We will send you the book or cd-rom which ever you prefer. Once you complete a "little homework" we schedule you for your pool sessions. You will do a academic review with your instructor through the process of the course. You will get time in the pool to practice your basic skills, and plenty of time to just swim around and make bubbles! Most all of our courses are taught as privates, so you'll have a great one on one experience with your instructor. Once you have mastered the basic skills, you will be ready to head out and see some fish! All of our students dive off our boat "Sandy's Sunday", where our students are a priority. You will start off in shallow water 15-20 ft. on a dive site we call "Cable Crossing". This site will allow you to check out your weight, ears, and just get comfortable being in open water. Don't think you'll be bored though, because it is home to some beautiful marine life. A baby turtle is a resident there, and often we see huge Sting Rays. A big school of Spade Fish, will often circle our heads as we sit in the sand to do skills. It's the best kind of classroom in the world! Next you'll head out and complete the rest of your dives on one of our living reef sites, where the list of what you'll see is just to long to list. Doing all of this with your instructor right by your side not only insuring your safety, but making sure you get to see some awesome stuff! This course is the first step in opening the door to a wonderful world that you'll be able to explore anywhere in the world.
