Ocean Quest Scuba

Sandy's Sunday" is a hunter friendly atmosphere. Our boat is equipped with a
custom designed spear gun rack, lobster snare rack, and game cooler. We provide
you with ice for your fish during the trip, and zip lock bags for your filets. There
is a customized cleaning station right at our slip to help you prepare your catch
for the ride home. Ocean Quest Scuba want everyone to have the oppurtunity to
enjoy the aspect of scuba diving they enjoy.

We do comply with all Florida Marine Laws and Regulations, and everyone that
lobsters or spear fish on our boat must have a current Florida Salt Waters License.
You are expected to know the limit and size laws of the species of fish you hunt.
Shooting "short" fish or bringing undersized lobster or egg bearing lobsters on
the boat will not be tolerated. Ocean Quest scuba reserves the right to suspend
anyones hunting during one of our trips if we believe them to be not follow
Floridas fishing laws, or using unsafe techniques

**POWER HEAD ARE PROHIBITED ON OUR BOAT, ANYONE THAT IS FOUND
WITH ONE ONBOARD WILL BE BANNED FROM DIVING WITH US IN THE
FUTURE!**

All hunters are also required to have a surface signal device with them. We prefer
orange or red safety sausages they seem to work better than the yellow ones.

As the seas built and all other boats turned for home...Sandy's Sunday cleared the
inlet without even a consideration of not diving. Although the day tossed us like
rags...Alex and Matt had five awesome dives with crystal clear visibility and came
home with a 70 lb Cobia, a Monster Hog and several other fish....way to go guys....

We also believe in the “kill only what you’ll eat” philosophy. Hunters are allowed on all
of our trips, and we ask that they just be considerate of others onboard, and to
remember: No lobster or fish is worth your life...you can stop at the store on the way
home...DIVE SAFE FIRST...HUNT SECOND...manage your air, don't go into deco, and
observe safe hunting techniques.
